![]() ![]() My question is: Do you guys think that my 1password is compromised as well? what can I do to be sure and secure everything? ![]() I changed them all but not sure if the virus updates the passwords as well. I am not quite sure what that means, but my understanding is that they now have access to allof my logins and passwords. Someone in another reddit forum mentioned it could have been a cookie stealer. ![]() Again, I assume that was an automation from the virus that had local access to my accounts? The scary thing here as well, is that the 2FA was enabled. I quickly changed the email back to mine and updated the password. I was able to regain control over it by sending in my passport picture to facebook and them giving me back my account. Today my Facebook account was compromised (password and emails were changed by the hacker). A bunch of phishing links were sent to all my friends whom I promptly warned. I assume it wasn't a hacker but the virus. Yesterday evening, a friend tells me that my Discord account was hacked. I didn't get to that yet as I don't want to nuke files that I might potentially need. I didn't know how deep the virus was rooted and was about to do a fresh install of Windows. I removed the suspicious Google apps, I ran a few anti virus programmes and was able to remove a few Trojans. I thought I had everything rooted out at that point. I assume that I downloaded a virus that automatically clicked into my Gmail account, added the "run my process" API which automated all of these anomalies to try and catch more poor souls. The weirdest thing was that a suspicious app was suddenly available in my Google Chrome apps list. I also noticed in my Google mail settings that emails from Google were blocked in the exceptions panel. It was off yesterday, however no unfamiliar devices were logged in, nor was there any suspicious activity in the login history. The weird thing is that I had two factor authentication enabled before. I was able to stop it and report it to Google. I then noticed that my Google ads account had also been compromised and someone (or some virus) had started an add campaign that had already stacked up over 14€. Then things started off with random videos being uploaded to both my YouTube channels (same Google account). It all started with me being a fool and downloading a dodgy piece of software. ![]()
